Renault Koleos Service Repair Manual: Front seat belt buckle: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Remove the front seat (see Complete front seat: Removal - Refitting) (75A, Front seat frames and runners).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

1 - Driver's side front seat belt buckle

• Disconnect the font seat belt buckle connector (1) .
• Remove:
  • the bolt (2) from the front seat belt buckle,
  • the front seat belt buckle.

2 - Passenger side front seat belt buckle

• Remove the flap and the storage compartment underneath the seat (see Storage compartment and flap under the seat: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).

• Disconnect the connector (3) from the passenger presence sensor.
• Remove the clip (4) .

• Disconnect the font seat belt buckle connector (5) .
• Remove:
  • the bolt (6) from the front seat belt buckle,
  • the front seat belt buckle.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

1 - Driver's side front seat belt buckle

• Refit the front seat belt buckle.
• Torque tighten the driver's side front seat belt buckle bolt (49 N.m).
• Connect the front seat belt stalk connector.

2 - Passenger side front seat belt buckle

• Refit the front seat belt buckle.
• Torque tighten the passenger side front seat belt buckle bolt (49 N.m).
• Connect the front seat belt stalk connector.
• Refit the clip.
• Connect the connector for the passenger presence sensor.
• Refit the flap and the storage compartment underneath the seat (see Storage compartment and flap under the seat: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit the front seat (see Complete front seat: Removal - Refitting) (75A, Front seat frames and runners).
