Renault Koleos Service Repair Manual: Tailgate opening switch: Removal - Refitting

Electrical equipment

Note: In case of an electrical fault, it is possible to open the tailgate manually.

Carry out this operation from inside the vehicle.

Unlock the tailgate by turning the fastener (1) in the direction of the arrow.

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

Remove the tailgate lower trim (see Tailgate trim: Removal - Refitting) (73A, Non-side opening elements trim).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

Note: Carefully unclip the tailgate opening switch cover to avoid damaging it.

Electrical equipment

Unclip the tailgate opening switch (4) by pressing on the clips in the direction of the arrows.
Remove the tailgate opening switch from its support.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION

II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

Refit:
- the tailgate opening switch on the cover,
- the tailgate opening switch assembly on the tailgate.
Connect the tailgate opening switch connector.

III - FINAL OPERATION.

Refit the tailgate lower trim (see Tailgate trim: Removal - Refitting) (73A, Non-side opening elements trim).
