REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
- Position the vehicle on a two-post lift.
IMPORTANT
To prevent the vehicle from falling, lash it to the
vehicle lift using a strap. |
- Remove the engine undertray.
- Drain the cooling system (see Cooling system:
Draining - Refilling) (19A, Cooling).
- Remove:
- the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting)
(80A, Battery)
- the battery tray (see Battery tray: Removal - Refitting)
(80A, Battery),
- the air inlet sleeve (see Air filter unit: Removal -
Refitting) (12A, Fuel mixture).
- Remove the bolts (1) from the engine wiring harness
channel.
- Remove the wiring harness channel (2) .
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
- Unclip the cooling hose (3) .
- Remove:
- the cooling hose clips (4) ,
- the cooling hose bolts (5) ,
- the cooling hoses (6) .
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
- Refit:
- the cooling hoses,
- the cooling hose bolts,
- the cooling hose clips.
- Torque tighten the cooling hose bolts (25 N.m).
- Clip the cooling hose at (3) .
II - FINAL OPERATION.
- Refit:
- the wiring harness channel,
- the engine wiring harness channel bolts.
- Torque tighten the wiring harness channel bolts
(28 N.m).
- Refit:
- the air inlet sleeve (see Air filter unit: Removal -
Refitting) (12A, Fuel mixture),
- the battery tray (see Battery tray: Removal - Refitting)
(80A, Battery),
- the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting)
(80A, Battery).
- Fill the cooling circuit (see Cooling system: Draining
- Refilling) (19A, Cooling).
- Refit the engine undertray.
