FK0 or FK8

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Position the vehicle on a two-post lift.

• Remove the engine undertray.
• Drain the cooling system (see Cooling system: Draining - Refilling) (19A, Cooling).
• Remove:
  • the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting) (80A, Battery)
  • the battery tray (see Battery tray: Removal - Refitting) (80A, Battery),
  • the air inlet sleeve (see Air filter unit: Removal - Refitting) (12A, Fuel mixture).

• Remove the bolts (1) from the engine wiring harness channel.
• Remove the wiring harness channel (2) .

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Unclip the cooling hose (3) .
• Remove:
  •  the cooling hose clips (4) ,
  •  the cooling hose bolts (5) ,
  •  the cooling hoses (6) .

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit:
  • the cooling hoses,
  • the cooling hose bolts,
  • the cooling hose clips.
• Torque tighten the cooling hose bolts (25 N.m).
• Clip the cooling hose at (3) .

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit:
  • the wiring harness channel,
  • the engine wiring harness channel bolts.
• Torque tighten the wiring harness channel bolts (28 N.m).
• Refit:
  • the air inlet sleeve (see Air filter unit: Removal - Refitting) (12A, Fuel mixture),
  • the battery tray (see Battery tray: Removal - Refitting) (80A, Battery),
  • the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting) (80A, Battery).
• Fill the cooling circuit (see Cooling system: Draining - Refilling) (19A, Cooling).
• Refit the engine undertray.
