REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

  • Remove:
    • the headrests from the rear seats,
    • the rear centre armrest (see Rear centre armrest: Removal - Refitting) (79A, Seat accessories),
    • the rear seat backrest (see Complete rear seat: Removal - Refitting) (76A, Rear seat frames and runners),
    • the rear seat backrest trim (see 1/3 and 2/3 rear bench seatback trim: Removal - Refitting) (78A, Rear seat trim).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

Electrical equipment

  • Remove:
    • the clips (1) ,
    • the rear centre seat belt automatic inertia reel cover (2) .

Electrical equipment

  • Remove:
    • the rear centre seat belt automatic inertia reel bolt (3) ,
    • the nuts (4) for the rear centre seat belt guide,
    • the " rear centre seat belt - rear centre seat belt automatic inertia reel " assembly.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

  • Fit the " rear centre seat belt - rear centre seat belt automatic inertia reel " assembly in place.
  • Refit:
    • the rear centre seat belt automatic inertia reel bolt,
    • the nuts for the rear centre seat belt guide.
  • Torque tighten the rear centre seat belt automatic inertia reel bolt (49 N.m).
  • Refit:
    • the rear centre seat belt automatic inertia reel cover
    • the clips.

II - FINAL OPERATION.

  • Refit:
    • the rear seat backrest trim (see 1/3 and 2/3 rear bench seatback trim: Removal - Refitting) (78A, Rear seat trim),
    • the rear seat backrest (see Complete rear seat: Removal - Refitting) (76A, Rear seat frames and runners),
    • the rear centre armrest (see Rear centre armrest: Removal - Refitting) (79A, Seat accessories),
    • the rear seat headrests.

    Passenger airbag deactivation warning light: Removal - Refitting
