UCH: Removal - Refitting
REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
- Disconnect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery:
Removal - Refitting, page 80A-3) .
- Remove:
- the bolts (1) ,
- the lower cover (2) .
- Remove:
- the bolts (3) ,
- the tyre pressure monitor computer (4) ,
- the additional cornering lights computer (5) .
- Remove the bolts (6) .
- Move aside the passenger compartment fuse and
relay box (7) .
- Remove the bolt (8) .
- Disconnect the connectors (9) .
- Remove the relays (10) .
II - REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED
- Disconnect the connectors.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PART CONCERNED
- Refit the UCH.
- Connect the connectors.
- Refit the bolts (11) .
II - FINAL OPERATION.
- Refit the relays.
- Connect the connectors.
- Refit the bolts (8) .
- Fit the passenger compartment fuse and relay box in
its original position.
- Refit:
- the bolts (6) ,
- the additional cornering lights computer,
- the tyre pressure monitor computer,
- the bolts (3) ,
- the lower cover (2) ,
- the bolts (1) .
- Connect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Removal
- Refitting, page 80A-3) .
- When replacing the UCH, carry out the necessary
operations using the Diagnostic tool (see Fault
finding - Replacement of components) (87B, Passenger
compartment connection unit).
