UCH: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Disconnect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Removal - Refitting, page 80A-3) .

• Remove:
  • the bolts (1) ,
  • the lower cover (2) .

• Remove:
  • the bolts (3) ,
  • the tyre pressure monitor computer (4) ,
  • the additional cornering lights computer (5) .

• Remove the bolts (6) .
• Move aside the passenger compartment fuse and relay box (7) .

• Remove the bolt (8) .
• Disconnect the connectors (9) .
• Remove the relays (10) .

II - REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Remove the bolts (11) .

• Disconnect the connectors.

• Remove the UCH.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING PART CONCERNED

• Refit the UCH.
• Connect the connectors.
• Refit the bolts (11) .

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit the relays.
• Connect the connectors.
• Refit the bolts (8) .
• Fit the passenger compartment fuse and relay box in its original position.
• Refit:
  • the bolts (6) ,
  • the additional cornering lights computer,
  • the tyre pressure monitor computer,
  • the bolts (3) ,
  • the lower cover (2) ,
  • the bolts (1) .
• Connect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Removal - Refitting, page 80A-3) .
• When replacing the UCH, carry out the necessary operations using the Diagnostic tool (see Fault finding - Replacement of components) (87B, Passenger compartment connection unit).
