REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
- Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
- Remove the front bumper (see Front bumper: Removal
- Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection).
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
- Place a container underneath the windscreen washer
bottle.
- Remove the windscreen washer bottle neck (see
85A, Wiping - Washing, Windscreen washer reservoir
neck: Removal - Refitting, page 85A-26) .
- Disconnect:
- the connector (1) from the windscreen washer
pump,
- the supply pipes (2) .
- Remove:
- the front bolts (3) of the windscreen washer bottle,
- the rear bolt (4) of the windscreen washer bottle,
- the windscreen washer bottle,
- the windscreen washer pump from the windscreen
washer bottle.
Note:
Mark the routing of the supply pipes and wiring. |
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
- Refit:
- the windscreen washer pump to the windscreen
washer bottle,
- the windscreen washer bottle,
- the front bolts of the windscreen washer bottle,
- the rear bolt of the windscreen washer bottle.
- Torque tighten the windscreen washer bottle
bolts (10 N.m).
- Connect:
- the supply pipes,
- the windscreen washer pump connector.
- Refit the windscreen washer bottle neck (see 85A,
Wiping - Washing, Windscreen washer reservoir
neck: Removal - Refitting, page 85A-26) .
II - FINAL OPERATION.
- Refit the front bumper (see Front bumper: Removal
- Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection).
- Fill the windscreen washer bottle.

REMOVAL
OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
- Unfasten clip (1) .
- Separate the neck (2) from the windscreen washer
bottle.
REFITTING
REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED
- Refit the windscreen washer bottle neck.
- Engage clip.
