Refitting
REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
- Disconnect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery:
Removal - Refitting, page 80A-3) .
Note:
The steering wheel does not need to be
removed. |
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
- Remove the bolts (1) .
- Unclip the clips (2) .
- Remove the bottom of the instrument panel trim in
the direction of the arrows (3) .
- Remove the top of the instrument panel trim in the
direction of the arrow (4) .
- Remove the bolts (5) from the instrument panel.
- Remove the instrument panel.
- Disconnect the connectors (6) from the instrument
panel.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
- Connect the connectors to the instrument panel.
- Refit:
- the instrument panel,
- the instrument panel bolts,
- the instrument panel trim.
- Clip the clips onto the upper half cowling.
- Refit the instrument panel trim bolts.
II - FINAL OPERATION.
- Connect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Removal
- Refitting, page 80A-3) .
- When replacing the instrument panel, carry out the
necessary operations using the Diagnostic tool
(see Fault finding - Replacement of components)
(83A, Instrument panel).
Vehicle position sensor:
Removal - Refitting
REMOVAL

- Remove the headlining (see Headlining: Removal -
Refitting) (71A, Body internal trim).
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
- Disconnect the vehicle location sensor connector (1)
.
- Remove:
- the vehicle location sensor bolts (2) ,
- the vehicle location sensor.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
- Refit:
- the vehicle location sensor,
- the vehicle location sensor bolts.
- Connect the vehicle location sensor connector.
II - FINAL OPERATION.
- Refit the headlining (see Headlining: Removal -
Refitting) (71A, Body internal trim).
