REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

1 - Front starting aerial

• Disconnect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Removal - Refitting, page 80A-3) .
• Remove:
  • the driver's front airbag (see 88C, Air bag and Pretensioners, Driver's frontal airbag: Removal - Refitting, page 88C-10) ,
  • the steering wheel (see Steering wheel: Removal - Refitting) (36A, Steering assembly),
  • the radio control satellite (see 86A, Radio, Radio control satellite: Removal - Refitting, page 86A- 17) ,
  • the half cowlings (see Steering column: Removal - Refitting) (36A, Steering assembly),
  • the rotary switch (see 84A, Control - Signals, Rotary switch: Removal - Refitting, page 84A-2) ,
  • the steering column switch assembly (see 84A, Control - Signals, Steering column switch assembly: Removal - Refitting, page 84A-4) ,
  • the instrument panel (see 83A, Instrument panel, Instrument panel: Removal - Refitting, page 83A-1) ,
  • the front centre speaker (see 86A, Radio, Front speakers: Removal - Refitting, page 86A-11) ,
  • the display (see 86A, Radio, Display: Removal - Refitting, page 86A-15) ,
  • the tweeter (see 86A, Radio, Tweeter: Removal - Refitting, page 86A-10) ,
  • the solar radiation detector (see Solar radiation sensor: Removal - Refitting) ,
  • the CD multi-changer (see 86A, Radio, CD changer: Removal - Refitting, page 86A-14) ,
  • the radio (see 86A, Radio, Radio: Removal - Refitting, page 86A-4) ,
  • the control panel (see Control panel: Removal - Refitting) (61A, Heating),
  • the starter control panel (see 82A, Engine immobiliser, Card reader: Removal - Refitting, page 82A-10) ,
  • the glovebox (see Glovebox: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the central console (see Centre console: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the dashboard (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).

• Remove:
  • the bolts (1) ,
  • the rear air distribution duct (2) .

2 - Central starting aerial

• Remove the centre console (see Centre console: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).

3 - Rear starting aerial

• Remove:
  • the luggage compartment front centre floor trim (3) (see Luggage compartment floor lining: Removal - Refitting) (71A, Body internal trim),
  • the luggage compartment front floor trim (4) (see Luggage compartment floor lining: Removal - Refitting) (71A, Body internal trim).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

1 - Front starting aerial

• Remove:
  • the mounting clips (5) ,
  • the front starting aerial (6) .
• Disconnect the front starting aerial connector.

2 - Central starting aerial

• Remove:
  • the mounting clips (7) ,
  • the central starting aerial (8) .
• Disconnect the front starting aerial connector.

3 - Rear starting aerial

• Remove:
  • the mounting clips (9) ,
  • the rear starting aerial (10) .
• Disconnect the front starting aerial connector.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

1 - Front starting aerial

• Connect the front starting aerial connector.
• Refit:
  • the front starting aerial,
  • the mounting clips.

2 - Central starting aerial

• Connect the front starting aerial connector.
• Refit:
  • the central starting aerial,
  • the mounting clips.

3 - Rear starting aerial

• Connect the front starting aerial connector.
• Refit:
  • the rear starting aerial,
  • the mounting clips.

II - FINAL OPERATION.

1 - Front starting aerial

• Refit:
  • the rear air distribution duct,
  • the rear air distribution duct bolts,
  • the dashboard (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).
  • the central console (see Centre console: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the glovebox (see Glovebox: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the starter control panel (see 82A, Engine immobiliser, Card reader: Removal - Refitting, page 82A-10) ,
  • the control panel (see Control panel: Removal - Refitting) (61A, Heating),
  • the radio (see 86A, Radio, Radio: Removal - Refitting, page 86A-4) ,
  • the CD multi-changer (see 86A, Radio, CD changer: Removal - Refitting, page 86A-14) ,
  • the solar radiation detector (see Solar radiation sensor: Removal - Refitting) ,
  • the tweeter (see 86A, Radio, Tweeter: Removal - Refitting, page 86A-10) ,
  • the display (see 86A, Radio, Display: Removal - Refitting, page 86A-15) ,

• Connect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Removal - Refitting, page 80A-3) .

2 - Central starting aerial

• Refit the centre console (see Centre console: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).

3 - Rear starting aerial

• Refit:
  • the luggage compartment front floor trim (see Luggage compartment floor lining: Removal - Refitting) (71A, Body internal trim),
  • the luggage compartment front centre floor trim (see Luggage compartment floor lining: Removal - Refitting) (71A, Body internal trim).
