ADDITIONAL HEADLIGHTS

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle: Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
• Remove:
  • the front wheel (see Wheel: Removal - Refitting) (35A, Wheels and tyres),
  • the front wheel arch liner (see Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

1 - Front fog light bulb

• Disconnect the front fog light connector (1) .
• Remove:
  • the bulb holder (2) by turning it a quarter of a turn anticlockwise,
  • the bulb from the bulb holder.

2 - Front fog light

• Disconnect the front fog light connector (3) .
• Remove:
  • the bolts (4) from the front fog light,
  • the front fog light.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

1 - Front fog light bulb

• Refit:
  • an approved P12V bulb onto the bulb holder of the front fog light,
  • the bulb holder on the front fog light.
• Turn the bulb holder a quarter of a turn clockwise.
• Connect the front fog light connector.

2 - Front fog light

• Refit:
  • the front fog light,
  • the front fog light bolts.
• Connect the front fog light connector.

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit:
  • the front wheel arch liner (see Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection),
  • the front wheel (see Wheel: Removal - Refitting) (35A, Wheels and tyres).

• Adjust the front fog lights using a screwdriver.
