REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
- Remove the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Removal
- Refitting, page 80A-3) .
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
- Unclip the hose (1) from the turbocharging pressure
regulator.
- Remove the bolts (2) from the battery tray.
- Disconnect the connectors (3) from the diesel injection
computer.
- Unclip:
- the wiring,
- the wiring bracket (4) from the battery tray.
- Remove:
- the battery tray - diesel injection computer assembly,
- the diesel injection computer from the battery tray
(see Diesel injection computer: Removal - Refitting)
(13B, Diesel injection).
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
- Refit:
- the diesel injection computer on the battery tray
(see Diesel injection computer: Removal - Refitting)
(13B, Diesel injection),
- the battery tray - diesel injection computer assembly.
- Clip:
- the wiring bracket onto the battery tray,
- the wiring.
- Connect the diesel injection computer connectors.
- Refit the battery tray bolts.
- Torque tighten the battery tray bolts (10 N.m).
- Clip on the turbocharging pressure regulator hose.
II - FINAL OPERATION.
- Refit the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Removal
- Refitting, page 80A-3) .

- the air inlet sleeve (see Air filter unit: Removal -
Refitting) (12A, Fuel mixture),
- the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Removal -
Refitting, page 80A-3) .
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
- Remove the bolts (1) from the battery tray.
- Disconnect:
- the fuel injection computer connectors (2) ,
- the gearbox computer connector (3) .
- Unclip the wiring.
- Remove:
- the battery tray - fuel injection computer - gearbox
computer assembly,
- the fuel injection computer from the battery tray
(see Petrol injection computer: Removal - Refitting)
(17B, Petrol injection),
- the gearbox computer from the battery tray (see
Automatic gearbox converter: Removal - Refitting)
(23A, Automatic gearbox).
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
- Refit:
- the gearbox computer on the battery tray, (see Automatic
gearbox converter: Removal - Refitting)
(23A, Automatic gearbox).
- the fuel injection computer on the battery tray (see
Petrol injection computer: Removal - Refitting)
(17B, Petrol injection),
- the battery tray - fuel injection computer - gearbox
computer assembly.
- Attach the wiring.
- Connect:
- the gearbox computer connector,
- the petrol injection computer connectors.
- Refit the battery tray bolts.
- Torque tighten the battery tray bolts (21 N.m).
II - FINAL OPERATION.
- Refit:
- the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Removal -
Refitting, page 80A-3) ,
- the air inlet sleeve (see Air filter unit: Removal -
Refitting) (12A, Fuel mixture).
