AIR CON 02

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Remove the side trims (1) from the centre panel.

• Remove the plate (2) from the gear lever (see Centre console: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).

• Remove:
  • the lower covers (3) from the centre panel (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the dashboard lower cover (4) on the driver's side (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the glovebox (5) (see Glovebox: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).

• Remove:
  • the side trims (6) from the centre panel (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the CD changer (see CD changer: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio),
  • the radio (see Car radio: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Remove:
  • the bolts (7) ,
  • the air conditioning control panel (8) .

• Disconnect the connector (9) .

• Remove:
  • the control panel bolts (10) ,
  • the control panel.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit the control panel bolts.
• Connect the control panel connector.
• Refit:
  • the control panel,
  • the bolts (7) .

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit:
  • the radio (see Car radio: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio),
  • the CD changer (see CD changer: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio),
  • the side centre panel side trims (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the glovebox (see Glovebox: Removal - Refitting) ( 57A, Interior equipment),
  • the dashboard lower cover on the driver's side (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the lower covers to the centre panel (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the gear lever plate (see Centre console: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the centre panel side trims.

AIR CON 01 or BASIC HEATING

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Remove the side trims (1) from the centre panel.

• Remove the plate (2) from the gear lever (see Centre console: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).

• Remove:
  • the lower covers (3) from the centre panel (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the dashboard lower cover (4) on the driver's side (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the glovebox (5) (see Glovebox: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).

• Remove:
  • the side trims (6) from the centre panel (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the CD changer (see CD changer: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio),
  • the radio (see Car radio: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio).

• Remove:
  • the bolts (7) ,
  • the cover (8) .

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Remove the bolts (9) .

• Remove:
  • the air mixer wiring from the sleeve stop (10) ,
  • the retaining ring (11) ,
  • the air mixing cable.

• Remove:
  • the air distribution cable from the sleeve stop (12) ,
  • the retaining ring (13) ,
  • the air distribution cable.

• Disconnect the connectors (14) .
• Remove the control panel.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit the control panel.
• Connect the connectors (14) .
• Refit:
  • the air distribution cable,
  • the air distribution cable to the sleeve stop,
  • the retaining ring,
  • the air mixer cable.
  • the air mixer cable to the sleeve stop,
  • the retaining ring,
  • the bolts (9) .

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit:
  • the cover (8) ,
  • the bolts (7) ,
  • the radio (see Car radio: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio),
  • the CD changer (see CD changer: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio),
  • the side centre panel side trims (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the glovebox (see Glovebox: Removal - Refitting) ( 57A, Interior equipment),
  • the dashboard lower cover on the driver's side (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the lower covers (3) from the centre panel (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the gear lever plate (see Centre console: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the centre panel side trims.
