LEFT-HAND DRIVE

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Remove:
  • the bottom cover (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the dashboard lower cover (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the A pillar air distribution duct (see Front air distribution duct: Removal - Refitting) ,
  • the CD changer (see CD changer: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio),
  • the radio (see Car radio: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio),
  • the front panel side trim (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Unclip the cable sleeve stop (1) from the distribution unit.
• Remove:
  • the mixer flap seal (2) ,
  • the air mixer flap control cable on the air distribution unit.

• Remove the control panel (see 61A, Heating, Control panel: Removal - Refitting, page 61A-48) .

• Unclip the sheath stop (3) .
• Remove the seal (4) .
• Remove the air mixing control cable on the control panel.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit the air mixing control cable to the control panel.
• Refit the seal (6) .
• Clip the sleeve stop at (5) .
• Refit the control panel (see 61A, Heating, Control panel: Removal - Refitting, page 61A-48) .

• Refit:
  • the air mixing control cable to the air distribution unit,
  • the seal (8) to the air mixer flap.
• Clip the sleeve stop (7) onto the distribution unit.

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Remove:
  • the front panel side trim (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the radio (see Car radio: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio),
  • the CD changer (see CD changer: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio),
  • the A pillar air distribution duct (see Front air distribution duct: Removal - Refitting) ,
  • the dashboard lower cover (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the bottom cover (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).

RIGHT-HAND DRIVE

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Remove:
  • the glovebox (see Glovebox: Removal - Refitting) ( 57A, Interior equipment),
  • the right-hand lower cover on the centre panel (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the A-pillar air distribution duct (see Front air distribution duct: Removal - Refitting) ,
  • the CD changer (see CD changer: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio),
  • the radio (see Car radio: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio),
  • the right-hand side trim of the centre panel (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Unclip the cable sleeve stop (1) from the distribution unit.
• Remove:
  • the mixing flap seal (2) ,
  • the air mixing control cable on the air distribution unit.

• Remove the control panel (see 61A, Heating, Control panel: Removal - Refitting, page 61A-48) .

• Unclip the sheath stop (3) .
• Remove the seal (4) .
• Remove the air mixing control cable on the control panel.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit the air mixing control cable to the control panel.
• Refit the seal (6) .
• Clip the sleeve stop at (5) .
• Refit the control panel (see 61A, Heating, Control panel: Removal - Refitting, page 61A-48) .

• Refit:
  • the air mixing control cable to the air distribution unit,
  • the seal (8) to the air mixing flap.
• Clip the sleeve stop (7) onto the distribution unit.

II - FINAL OPERATION

• Refit:
  • the right-hand side trim on the centre panel (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the radio (see Car radio: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio),
  • the CD changer (see CD changer: Removal - Refitting) (86A, Radio),
  • the A-pillar air distribution duct (see Front air distribution duct: Removal - Refitting) ,
  • the right-hand lower cover on the centre panel (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the glovebox (see Glovebox: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).
