STRIPPING

I - STRIPPING PREPARATION OPERATION

• Remove the rear bumper (this operation requires two people) (see 55A, Exterior protection, Rear bumper: Removal - Refitting, page 55A-4) .

II - STRIPPING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Remove:
  • the proximity radars (depending on the equipment level) (see Proximity radar: Removal - Refitting) (87F, Parking distance control),
  • the rear bumper wiring.

• Remove:
  • the bolts (1) ,
  • the rear fog light (depending on the equipment level).

• Unclip the reflector mounting at (2) .
• Remove the reflector.

REBUILDING

I - REBUILDING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit:
  • the reflector,
  • the rear fog light (depending on the equipment level),
  • the bolts.

• Refit:
  • the rear bumper wiring,
  • the proximity radars (depending on the equipment level) (see Proximity radar: Removal - Refitting) (87F, Parking distance control).

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit the rear bumper (this operation requires two people) (see 55A, Exterior protection, Rear bumper: Removal - Refitting, page 55A-4) .
