TYRE PRESSURE SENSOR

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle: Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
• Remove:
  • the front or rear wheel (on the side concerned) (see 35A, Wheels and tyres, Wheel: Removal - Refitting, page 35A-1) ,
  • the front wheel arch liner (side concerned) (see Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection) or the rear wheel arch liner (side concerned) (see Rear wheel arch liner: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

1 - Front left-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver

• Remove the bolt (1) from the front left-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver.
• Disconnect the connector (2) from the front left-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver.
• Remove the front left-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver.

2 - Front right-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver

• Remove the front right-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver bolt (3) .
• Disconnect the connector (4) from the front right-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver.
• Remove the front right-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver.

3 - Rear left-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver

• Remove the bolt (5) from the rear left-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver.
• Disconnect the connector (6) from the rear left-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver.
• Remove the rear left-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver.

4 - Rear right-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver

• Remove the bolt (7) from the rear right-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver.
• Disconnect the connector (8) from the rear right-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver.
• Remove the rear right-hand tyre pressure monitor receiver.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit the tyre pressure monitor receiver (on the side concerned).
• Connect the connector of the tyre pressure monitor receiver (on the side concerned).
• Refit the bolt on the tyre pressure monitor receiver (on the side concerned).
• Torque tighten the tyre pressure monitor receiver bolt (11 N.m) (on the side concerned).

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit:
  • the front wheel arch liner (side concerned) (see Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection) or the rear wheel arch liner (side concerned) (see Rear wheel arch liner: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection),
  • the front or rear wheel (on the side concerned) (see 35A, Wheels and tyres, Wheel: Removal - Refitting, page 35A-1) .
