REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle: Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
• Remove:
  • the front wheels (see 35A, Wheels and tyres, Wheel: Removal - Refitting, page 35A-1) (35A, Wheels and tyres),
  • the engine undertray,
  • the front axle subframe (see 31A, Front axle components, Front axle subframe: Removal - Refitting, page 31A-58) .

II - REMOVAL OF THE PART CONCERNED

• Remove:
  • the particle filter pressure sensor support (1) ,
  • the anti-roll bar bolts (2) ,
  • the anti-roll bar bearings (3) ,
  • the anti-roll bar (4) .

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit:
  • the anti-roll bar,
  • the anti-roll bar bearings,
  • the anti-roll bar bolts,
  • the particle filter pressure sensor support.
• Torque tighten the anti-roll bar bolts (34 N.m).

II - FINAL OPERATION

• Refit:
  • the front axle sub-frame (see 31A, Front axle components, Front axle subframe: Removal - Refitting, page 31A-58) ,
  • the engine undertray,
  • the front wheels (see 35A, Wheels and tyres, Wheel: Removal - Refitting, page 35A-1) (35A, Wheels and tyres).

  • the anti-roll bar bolts (1) ,
  • the anti-roll bar bearings (2) ,
  • the anti-roll bar (3) .

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit:
  • the anti-roll bar,
  • the anti-roll bar bearings,
  • the anti-roll bar bolts.
• Torque tighten the anti-roll bar bolts (34 N.m).

II - FINAL OPERATION

• Refit:
  • the front axle sub-frame (see 31A, Front axle components, Front axle subframe: Removal - Refitting, page 31A-58) ,
  • the engine undertray,
  • the front wheels (see 35A, Wheels and tyres, Wheel: Removal - Refitting, page 35A-1) (35A, Wheels and tyres).
