REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
- Position the vehicle on a two-post lift.
IMPORTANT
To prevent the vehicle from falling, lash it to the
vehicle lift using a strap. |
- Remove the automatic gearbox.
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
- Position the (Mot. 1431) (1) .
- Remove:
- the drive plate bolts (2) ,
- the drive plate,
- the (Mot. 1431).
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
- Systematically replace the drive plate bolts.
- Check that the drive plate is not damaged (run-out
tolerance of 0.2 mm on the outer diameter).
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
- Fit the drive plate, ensuring it is correctly positioned
in relation to the centring pins.
- Refit the new drive plate bolts.
- Position the (Mot. 1431).
- Tighten to torque, to angle and in order the drive
plate bolts (35 N.m + 40º +- 5º).
- Remove the (Mot. 1431).
III - FINAL OPERATION.
- Refit the automatic gearbox.

- Remove the automatic gearbox.
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
- Position the (Mot. 1431) (1) .
- Remove:
- the drive plate bolts (2) ,
- the (Mot. 1431),
- the stiffener plate (3) ,
- the drive plate.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
- Systematically replace the drive plate bolts.
- Check that the drive plate is not damaged (run-out
tolerance of 0.2 mm on the outer diameter).
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
- Refit:
- the drive plate,
- the stiffener plate,
- the drive plate bolts,
- the (Mot. 1431).
- Torque tighten the drive plate bolts (108 N.m).
- Remove the (Mot. 1431).
III - FINAL OPERATION.
- Refit the automatic gearbox.
