IMPORTANT
During this operation, be sure to:
- refrain from smoking or bringing red hot objects
close to the working area,
- be careful of fuel splashes when disconnecting the
union.

Wear leaktight gloves (Nitrile type) for this operation. |
I - OIL SERVICE
- Disconnect the battery.
- Lift up:
- the rear bench seat base
- partially, the floor carpet under the rear bench seat
base.
- Partially remove the blanking cover (1) from the inspection
flap.

Note:
Make preparations for fuel outflow from the supply
and return pipes. |
- Disconnect the quick-release union (2) from the fuel
supply pipe.

- Disconnect the quick-release union (3) from the fuel
supply pipe.
- Fit blanking plugs on the unions using the blanking
plug kit.
- Connect the pneumatic transfer pump for fuels
(4) to the fuel supply pipe quick-release union.
- Place the discharge pipe of the pneumatic transfer
pump for fuels in a container.
- Activate the pneumatic pump.
- Let the fuel flow out until it the flow is intermittent.
II - REFITTING
- Remove:
- the pneumatic transfer pump for fuels,
- the blanking plugs.
- Connect the fuel supply quick-release union to the
fuel sender.
- Refit the blanking cover on the inspection flap.
- Fit:
- the floor carpet under the rear bench seat base
- the rear bench seat base
- Connect the battery.
