Tightening torques

rear anti-roll bar tie rod upper bolts and nuts  110 N.m
rear anti-roll bar tie rod lower bolts and nuts  110 N.m

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

  • Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle: Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

Rear axle components

  • Undo:
    • the rear anti-roll bar tie rod upper bolts and nuts (1) on both sides,
    • the rear anti-roll bar tie rod lower bolts and nuts (2) on both sides.
  • Remove:
    • the rear anti-roll bar tie rod upper bolts and nuts (1) on both sides,
    • the rear anti-roll bar tie rod lower bolts and nuts (2) on both sides.
    • the rear anti-roll bar tie-rod.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION

  • Always replace the tie rod nuts of the rear anti-roll bar.

II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

  • Refit:
    • the anti-roll bar tie-rod,
    • the rear anti-roll bar tie rod upper bolts and nuts on both sides,
    • the rear anti-roll bar tie rod lower bolts and nuts on both sides.
  • Torque tighten:
    • the rear anti-roll bar tie rod upper bolts and nuts (110 N.m),
    • the rear anti-roll bar tie rod lower bolts and nuts (110 N.m).
